Experience

Wendy Brill is the founder and principal of Sunset Public Affairs, LLC.  She has more than 20 years of experience and solid relationships in government at both the state and local level.  Her experience spans both the public and private sector.  Wendy spent several years with one of the leading business associations representing Tampa Bay's business community.  Wendy successfully advocated directly in Tampa, Hillsborough County and Tallahassee for the passage of pro-business legislation.

Additionally, Wendy spent several legislative sessions as the chief legislative aide to a member of leadership in the Florida House of Representatives where she was responsible for the development of legislative policy.  She was instrumental in the passing of several key public policy initiatives including elections law changes and aiding in returning millions of dollars to the Tampa Bay region.

Wendy also has significant experience in both Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa.  She served as policy aide to a county commissioner,  two Mayors of Tampa, and two Tampa City Council Members.
